Butter, cheese and whey butter are made in a traditional way. All products are for sale.
Experience shieling life for a day! Churn butter, learn about the history of the shieling and farm and join us for an evening milking.
At the shieling there are fjäll cows, pigs, chickens, rabbits and more!
Two tours a day
We offer guided tours of the shieling twice a day, which are included in the entrance fee. We’ll show you around and tell you about life in the shieling then and now. On most days you also get to see how we churn butter and make whey butter.
We offer various tours of the shieling for pre-booked groups. The minimum number of people for groups is 10.
